Football registrations for returning and new players are now open. Please read the below important information.

Registration fees and payment

Upon registering, you can choose to pay the full registration fee or a $50.00 deposit (with the remainder to be paid by 31st of May 2026). This process has changed from last year and is now managed through Play HQ. At checkout select deferred payment tab to pay the deposit. Play HQ will then email you 7 days prior to the 31st of May 2026 with a link to pay the balance.

Registration fees for 2026 have slightly increased – $140 for U9s and U10s, and $190 for all other age groups.

Active Kids program

Apply for this before registering, if eligible. The Active Kids program offers payments of up to $200 per child to cover registration costs. If choosing this option, you will need to register with the Active Kids program first to receive a code. That code can be used on check out when registering your child.

Returning Golden Square players

When registering via PlayHQ, you must use the same email address as you registered with previously. This ensures that player profiles capture all playing history and stats. There maybe some age groups where we have too many players and not enough teams to be able to take them all. We will be running trials in these age groups but we will be following our Football Player & Team Selection Policy for selecting these teams.

New to junior football

For those parents registering kids for the first time, please create an account for yourself first on PlayHQ and then register your child via that account. Please familiarise yourself with the Football Player & Team Selection Policy, which details the way in which new players to our club are prioritised.

Transferring from other clubs

When registering via PlayHQ, you must use the same email address as you registered with previously. This ensures that player profiles capture all playing history and stats. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to confirm your request to transfer to a new club. Please familiarise yourself with the Football Player & Team Selection Policy, which details the way in which new players to our club are prioritised.

Allocation to appropriate age group

Please be aware that the PlayHQ system will automatically assign a player to an age group when registering, even if there is preference for another eligible age group. In this case, please proceed with registration and email the club at gsfncjuniors@gmail.com to advise of any request for an amendment to be moved up or down. Each request will be assessed based on player experience, circumstances and team capacity.

Staying up to date with information

Once registered, please ensure you have access to the relevant age group for 2026 in Stack Team App. If not, request access via the app (settings wheel) to be sure to receive important information, including pre-season training information.
